Did you get your student aid right on the disbursement date?

I came across this interesting topic in a Web Answers discussion. Here was my comment:


Financial Aid disbursements are different in different schools. Some colleges will process the first or second day of classes and some will wait until the 3rd week. Most federal aid has a requirement that a student be enrolled and thus verified by attendance before the school is paid. This is more frequent now than years previously. The best way to find out is to call the college you plan to attend and ask when financial aid is processed and refunded. Don't be shy, this is how many college students survive and the school is asked that all the time.
